The Miss Juneteenth USA™ Legacy Showcase marks the culmination of an educational journey shaped by the 1865 Black Renaissance Legacy & Leadership Conference. Here, young women complete a curriculum rooted in the full arc of the Black experience — from enslavement through emancipation — and examine how this history informs their identity and purpose today.
The Showcase stands as the culmination of that curriculum —a moment where understanding becomes clarity, confidence, and a deeper sense of self. This Showcase represents the moment their learning solidifies:
a deepened understanding of self, a strengthened cultural foundation, and the confidence to step forward grounded in truth and representation.
